BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Our range of single and three phase pre-wired distribution panels are tailor made for the street lighting industry. We manufacture these panels to your specifications whether you require them for single phase, 3 phase or 3 phase incoming/single phase outgoing applications. The circuit configuration may be switched (with a PECU or timer controlled contactor) or un-switched and can be supplied with outgoing and auxiliary circuits according to your requirements. Our panel enclosures are manufactured to comply with the mechanical requirements of BS5486 by a company accredited to BS-EN ISO 9002. Each enclosure is manufactured from a continuous length of sheet steel, double folded at the front, with the rear welded to the frame. Enclosures are finished both internally and externally with polyester epoxy resin or grey texturised paint (to RAL-7032). A minimum ingress protection of IP55 is provided and the enclosure is supplied with a bichromated zinc plated metal backplate with holes for the securing of accessories and 4 brackets to allow fixing to the pillar shell or backboard. The appropriate number of holes are pre-punched into the base to allow for termination of the outgoing cables, and are fitted with grommets until utilised. The size of the enclosure may vary depending on the content and specifications required.

ORDERING INFORMATION

When making an enquiry or placing an order there are a number of points that you may wish to consider to help identify your requirements, these are:

	Is the incoming supply single or 3 phase?
	Are the outgoing circuits single, 3 phase or both?
	Do you require a lockable or door interlock incoming isolator or fuse combination switch, and what rating is required?
	Is a contactor required, and what rating?
	If switched, is a control by-pass switch required?
	Is a timer circuit required?
	Is a photocell relay and connector block required?
	How many outgoing circuits, single and 3 phase are required?
	Are fuses or MCB's required?
	Do the outgoing circuits need to accept cables greater than 16mm˛?
	Are any auxiliary circuits required e.g. heater, light, elapsed time indicator, 13A RCD sockets?
	Are LED indicators required on the incoming / outgoing circuits?
	Is the distribution panel required to be pre-fitted to a feeder pillar?
We can manufacture to individual customer requirements. In addition to offering steel we can also supply glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate enclosures (GRP).
