CONTROL EQUIPMENT

Standard Equipment

The following are fitted as standard to the enclosure backplate. Other equipment may be specified.
A Triple Pole and Neutral (TPN) incoming isolator with door interlocking facility or Din Rail mounted padlock facility - rated at 32A, 63A or 100A depending on your requirement and manufactured to BS5419.
OR
A TPN door interlock fuse switch disconnector, suitable for switching discharge lighting loads of up to 63Amps. The fuse switch shall switch phases and neutral.
A suitable number of MCB's or BS88 fuse carriers for outgoing and auxiliary circuits - type, number and ratings as specified.
A neutral, shrouded terminal busbar for connection of up to 11x 25mm˛ cables in addition to the control panel internal wiring.
Enclosure body, door and chassis plate fully bonded to the earth bar.
Relevant circuit identification and safety earth labels.
Colour coded internal wiring, using tri-rated PVC insulated cable.
Twin insulated incoming mains tails through flexible trunking to allow for easy connection to the supply cut-out.
An earth terminal bar, permanently bonded to the enclosure and panel door.

Additional Options

Examples of equipment that may be fitted to the enclosure follow:

A suitably rated contactor when switching is fitted.
A brass gland plate attached to the bottom of the box for cable termination.
A switch unit for a 2 part photocell.
A photocell connector block.
LED indicators on the incoming and/or outgoing circuits.
A suitable rated anti-condensation heater - 15, 20 or 60W, fitted with or without a thermostat.
An electronically adjustable time relay c/w externally mounted push button switch.
Black hasp and staple fitted to the enclosure.
Terminal blocks to accept cable sizes greater than 16mm˛.

When the panel is to be supplied as one of our competitive packages, pre-fitted into one of our feeder pillar cabinets the following options are also available:

External 13a RCD protected socket.
Light and switch.
Elapsed time indicator, to monitor contactor switching and provide information to aid lamp changing.
Connector blocks fitted to backboard to reduce incoming cables larger than 25mm˛.
