EV Isolator Units

The Type 1 EV isolator unit sits above the DNO cut-out unit and is provided with pre-wired cable tails, 1 x 25A 30mA Type A, C curve RCBO for the EV charging point + 1 x 6A 30mA Type A, C curve RCBO for the street lighting.

• 1 x 63A Type A two pole 63A 100Ma time delayed RCD feeding:
• 1 x 25A single pole MCB Type C labelled “EV Charging Point”
• 1 x 6A single pole MCB Type C labelled “Street Lighting”
• ABS gland plate, stuffing gland & the following pre-wired cable tails:
• 2 No. 6mm2 double insulated colour coded Live and Neutral cable tails x 350mm long.
• 1 No. 6mm2 tri-rated earth cable x 350mm.

The Type 2 EV isolator unit sits above the DNO supply and is provided with DNO tails, 1 x 6A 30mA Type A, C curve RCBO for an upward lighting circuit and 1 x 25A 30mA Type A, C curve RCBO for a downward spur circuit to an EV bollard.

• 1 x Upward Circuit 6A single pole MCB Type C labelled “Street Lighting”
• B2 Extension Box complete with encapsulated blocks for DNO tails + outgoing spur.
• IP720 brass gland plate with 1 x PG13 stuffing gland, and 1 x 20mm brass gland for outgoing spur.
• 2 No. 6mm² double insulated colour coded Live and Neutral cable tails x 350mm long.
• 1 No. 6mm² tri-rated earth cable x 350mm.
